Computer Shopping? Connect Here

There's a new source for the latest computer equipment and service on the uptown campus. Technology Connection officially opened for business on Thursday (Jan. 21) on the bottom floor of Willow Residence Hall.

Learn about the new store in this video produced by Sheldon Jones, supervisor of instructional media
services at the Innovative Learning Center.

Store manager Donna Silva and Charlie McMahon, chief technology officer at Tulane, cut the ribbon on Thursday and welcomed in customers to the store, which offers computer products from Apple, Sony, Dell, Lenovo and others.

"What we're seeing today is the result of almost a year's worth of effort — a lot of effort by our team to understand the needs of the community and try and provide a service that has been lacking," McMahon said at the event.

Technology Connection is a joint venture between the departments of university services and technology services to provide students, faculty and staff with easy access to professional technical support and educationally priced computer equipment, software and accessories.

The store is open from Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until 4 p.m.
