An exciting first day of classes at Tulane

It is the beginning of a new academic year at Tulane, and students are excited to get back to classes across campus. President Michael A. Fitts hosted a "Mike Drop" event in front of the new Lake and River Residence Halls on Monday, Aug. 21, the first day of classes, and students smiled despite the heat while walking to class and reuniting with friends. As the Hullaballoo Hello continues for first-year students and returning students head to new classes, it looks like it will be a great year!
