Hoops Camp on Campus
Limited spots remain available for boys and girls age 7 to 18 to attend the Copeland's Chris Paul Basketball Camp on July 27â“29 at the Reily Student Recreation Center on the Tulane uptown campus, presented by Tulane Medical Center.
Paul, star point guard of the New Orleans Hornets NBA team, will be on site to direct the activities of the camp and provide instruction. The camp also will feature some of the top prep and collegiate coaches in the New Orleans area. Morning sessions will be held from 9 a.m.â“noon for ages 7â“11, and afternoon sessions are scheduled from 1â“4 p.m. for ages 12â“18.
Each day, the campers will receive training in fundamental skills and the team concept of basketball. Individual groups will be small to assure that each camper gets maximum personalized instruction.
In addition to nine hours of basketball instruction, all campers will receive an autographed camp team photo with Paul, a camp T-shirt and the opportunity to win additional prizes. Cost of the camp is $199.
In addition to Tulane Medical Center, camp partners include McDonalds, ESPN 1350, B 97, ABC 26 and The New Orleans Tribune.
