James Beard Foundation names alumnus Rising Star Chef

Tulane University alumnus Zachary Engel, who earned a degree in business in 2010, was honored Monday at the 2017 James Beard Awards Gala in Chicago. Engel, who is chef de cuisine at Shaya Restaurant in New Orleans, was named “Rising Star Chef of the Year” by the James Beard Foundation.
