Several dogs and a cat with the Louisiana SPCA Visiting Pet Program participated in an hour-long meet-and-greet with students, faculty and staff at the Tulane School of Social Work.
Lilly, an eight-year-old pug, and canine volunteer with the program is all smiles and then some. Her owners, Terry and Jeff Stadler, say that Lilly is a favorite at Children’s Hospital.

The visit allowed students to learn from the pets’ owners about the benefits of using animals as a tool for relaxation in a variety of therapy settings.
