Saints Fans Go A'Marching

UPDATE: With Sunday night's (Feb. 7) Super Bowl victory fresh in the minds of Saints fans everywhere, it's appropriate to run a reprise of this multimedia presentation of Tulane students, faculty and staff members celebrating the team's first national championship game. It will take all of us some time to step down from Cloud Nine.

Is it Sunday yet? Saints fans across the city and across the Tulane campuses are ready for the big game to kick off. Turn any corner and houses, offices and cars are decorated with fleur-de-lis and black and gold, evidence that the "Who Dat Nation" believes in the Saints.

As seen in this slideshow by university photographer Paula Burch-Celentano, black-and-gold fever has
staff, students and faculty celebrating, literally dancing in the halls.

The Carnival atmosphere, which began when the overtime field goal sealed the Super Bowl fate for New Orleans' favorite sons, could last all the way through Fat Tuesday.
