A mural in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans pays tribute to the civil rights movement. The images, at right, honor Ruby Bridges, who at age 6 was the first African-American to enroll in all-white William Frantz Elementary school in New Orleans. Bridges was awarded an honorary degree from Tulane in 2012.
