Dr. Mordecai Potash

Biography

Dr. Potash's work includes general psychiatry, pain medicine, palliative care, and consultation-liaison psychiatry. Currently, Dr. Potash works on intermediate care units at Southeast Louisiana Hospital. Dr. Potash also offers pain management and palliative care outpatient services at the Tulane Multispeciality Clinic. Dr. Potash also performs inpatient consultations at Tulane Hospital and Tulane-Lakeside Hospital and frequently addresses issues such as delirium, depression, fatigue, and unrelieved pain in patients with severe medical and surgical issues.

Dr. Mordecai Portash of New Orleans has been appointed to the Palliative Care Interdisciplinary Advisory Council. Potash is as Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry with Tulane University and was appointed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. He will serve as a physician member board-certified in pain management.
