‘We do this to bring joy to our patients’

Escorted by Louisiana State Police, Santa Claus arrived in style for a holiday party for young patients of the Tulane University Department of Pediatrics. Troopers sponsor the party every year, providing toys for the patients and their families.

Hazel and the Delta Ramblers, including Dr. Russell Van Dyke on banjo, entertained the families. Van Dyke is professor and chief of the Tulane Section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
