Alumnus Bryan Batt takes stage for Le Petit Theatre benefit

“Audiences from New York to Los Angeles to London and Australia have enjoyed the show, and it's been a lot of fun sharing the songs and the music,” Batt says.
He originated the show in 2005 when he was asked by the then-proprietor of Le Chat Noir, Barbara Motley, to put together a benefit for displaced actors. Although a veteran of nine Broadway and many off-Broadway shows, Batt had never done a one-man cabaret. The show has drawn crowds and rave reviews ever since.
“There are triple-threat stars, and then there's Bryan Batt,” wrote Jena Tesse Fox of BroadwayWorld.com. “He sings. He dances. He acts. And he's one of the most brilliantly funny comedians on Broadway today.”
Another BroadwayWorld.com writer, Don Grigware, wrote of Batt, “His delightful patter in the 70-minute set includes story/song/story/song in a rapid-fire delivery that is warm, humorous and at times quite touching.”
