Play ball! The Tulane Green Wave opened its 103rd baseball season on Feb. 19 with a three-game series against Boston College at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. The Wave got off to a slow start dropping the first two games of the series, before getting in the groove to beat the Eagles 14-6 on Sunday (Feb. 21).

New Orleans-based singer, songwriter, fiddler and actress Amanda Shaw delivered the national anthem on Friday, while Pete Carmichael, the offensive coordinator for the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints, threw out the first pitch on Saturday (Feb. 20).

Tulane has a new home on the radio this season as WIST AM 690 began its first season as the flagship station for Wave baseball. Todd Graffagnini, the voice of the Green Wave, opened his 19th season of calling the action on the radio/internet. Fans can watch games online via the All-Access package at www.TulaneGreenWave.com.
