Bird-watch

A Strelitzia reginae flowering plant is in full bloom outside Newcomb Hall on the Tulane University uptown campus. Native to South Africa, the plant is commonly known as “bird of paradise” because its flower resembles the elaborate plumage of the birds-of-paradise family.
