Bridge over muddy water

Photographed from the top of the Diboll Complex Parking Garage on the Tulane University uptown campus, the twin cantilever bridges that make up the Crescent City Connection are bathed in early morning sunlight. Tied for the rank of fifth-longest cantilever bridges in the world, the pair are the farthest-downstream bridges on the Mississippi River as well as the most heavily traveled.
