Black-eyed susans shoot toward the sky, creating a spectacle of color for the insect residents of the Louisiana Native Garden. Located alongside the Merryl and Sam Israel Jr. Environmental Sciences Building on the Tulane University uptown campus, the garden features a variety of water-loving flowers, grasses, shrubs and trees that are native to southern Louisiana.
