A different shade of green

Students perform a modern adaptation of Kurt Jooss’ 1932 ballet “The Green Table,” a commentary on the hopelessness of war and the destruction it causes. Conceived and directed by Jeffrey Gunshol, senior professor of practice in the Newcomb Department of Dance, with choreography by the dance faculty, the Friday evening performance on the Newcomb Quad addressed the current turbulence between pop culture, news and media.
