Dinnertime

At dusk, a paddling of ducks approaches the Lake Pontchartrain seawall to nibble on scraps of bread. The concrete steps, which wrap around a seven-mile portion of the south shore of the lake in New Orleans, were constructed during a period between 1928 and 1935.
