Taylor Emery, a freshman guard on the Tulane women"s basketball team, pulls up for a jump shot during a practice on Thursday (Nov. 12). The team started the season with a victory on Friday night (Nov. 13) to open the season, scoring a 69-53 win over Arkansas-Little Rock at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. Emery, Leslie Vorphal and Kolby Morgan combined for 37 points in the win.
