At the Audubon Zoo, not far from the Tulane uptown campus, parrots with their brilliant feathers are sure to grab visitors' attention. Bird lovers can visit the zoo's Audubon Aviary, a free-flight aviary with many species of birds. The zoo will have a special opening on Monday (May 30) in honor of Memorial Day.
