Flower Power

Inspired by the spring flowers in full bloom on the uptown campus, students who live in residence halls are doing some planting of their own. The Phelps-Irby-Mayer Residence Hall Government is providing free flower boxes, plants and potting soil for students to put together their own spring color for balcony railings. The first flower box giveaway proved very popular on Thursday (March 24), so another planting party is planned this week.
