Game on

First-year student Josh Ballagh, right, challenges 4-year-old Jesse Grant, and his mother, Brooke, to a friendly duel Thursday morning on McAlister Place. Ballagh was promoting WaveCon, an event that celebrates campus geek culture. WaveCon features video games, anime screenings, dance performances  tabletop games and panel discussions on topics such as the history of online gaming and the “Game of Thrones” television series.
