Calling all comic collectors and pop culture aficionados. From Friday (Jan. 9) through Sunday (Jan. 11), the stars of film, television, comics and “cosplay” will align at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center as thousands attend Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con 2015.

Shopping

Upon entering the convention, all attendees will receive an exclusive souvenir — a limited-edition cover variant of The Walking Dead No. 1 by illustrator Michael Cho. The Convention Exclusive booth will provide unique finds for pop culture collectors, such as the Funko POP! glow-in-the-dark Back to the Future Doc Brown figurine. Jedi knights and Sith lords alike can pick up custom lightsabers at the Ultra Sabers booth.

Autographs and photo opportunities

Comic Con offers passionate fans the chance to meet their favorite television and film icons. Michael Rooker and Michael Cudlitz from AMC's “The Walking Dead” will be signing autographs. Bruce Campbell from The Evil Dead trilogy and Tom Felton from the revered Harry Potter film series will make appearances. Guests can also mingle with world-renowned comic book artists, including Humberto Ramos and Pasqual Ferry.

Panels

Attendees can ask their favorite celebrities their burning questions at Comic Con's panels. Fans of the CW's “The Vampire Diaries” will get their chance on Saturday (Jan. 10) at noon, as Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder stop by to share stories. Devoted followers of the New Orleans-shot “American Horror Story” can catch Evan Peters' Q&A at 5 p.m.

After hours

On Sunday (Jan. 11), Eiffel Society will transform into Hogwarts as local burlesque troupe The Society of Sin concludes Comic Con weekend by performing a one-night-only Harry Potter-inspired burlesque play followed by a Yule Ball dance party.
