It"s a somewhat common notion that entrepreneurism in New Orleans is a byproduct of the recovery from Hurricane Katrina. In the last 10 years, the city has seen unprecedented growth of startups, but how much of that is really the result of Katrina? New Wave went down to the Idea Village and talked to CEO and co-founder Tim Williamson, a Tulane University alumnus, about the history of entrepreneurism in the Crescent City.
