Immortal, beloved

An iron bust of Ludwig Von Beethoven sits on the counter of the Media Services collection on the sixth floor of the Howard-Tilton Memorial Library. The statue was originally housed in the Maxwell Music Library in the basement, which took water during Hurricane Katrina. After the storm, it was one of the first items returned to the media services staff, and it has since been prominently displayed.
