Insider: It's Tulane Night at Ye Olde College Inn!

Members of the Tulane community have long patronized a local gem of a restaurant known as Ye Olde College Inn. On Wednesday (Sept. 12), all are invited to rekindle or begin their relationship with the 79-year-old restaurant during “Tulane Night” hosted by the Office of Alumni Affairs.

Kenneth Tedesco, associate director of Tulane Alumni Affairs, says the event will provide an opportunity for members of the community to bring their family and friends together for a night of fun.

“We'll have raffles and door prizes and you don't have to be affiliated with Tulane to participate,” says Tedesco. “This is going to be a great night, at an iconic place, where the owners are great people and great Tulane supporters.”

Tulane Night will mark the first of its kind with plans for it to become an annual event. From 4-11 p.m. the restaurant, located at 3000 S. Carrollton Ave., will donate 20 percent of all proceeds to the Alumni Scholarship Fund.
