Jewish Film Sushi Series Returns

As part of the Jewish Film Sushi Series at Tulane, Imagining Peace will be screened today (Feb. 3) at 7:30 p.m. in the Woldenberg Art Center's Stone Auditorium on the Tulane uptown campus.

Imagining Peace, a documentary sponsored by the New York Foundation for the Arts, is about a program called Building Bridges for Peace, and how it affects the lives of six young women, some Israeli and some Palestinian.

Other film screenings this semester will include Outside the Box (March 10, 7:30 p.m., Lavin-Bernick Center) and Four Seasons Lodge (April 7, 7:30 p.m., Lavin-Bernick Center).

All films are followed by a discussion with the director, and a sushi reception. The series is free and open to the community.

The program is supported by Tulane Jewish Studies, the Posen Foundation's Center for Cultural Judaism, the Foundation for Jewish Culture, the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation and New Orleans Hillel.
