Kids rock in <i>Birdie</i>
Thirty-two young stars charmed audiences as they danced and sang in Bye Bye Birdie for Tulane Little Lyric Theatre in five performances on Thursday through Saturday (June 28â“30). The talented kids presented the musical on the Dixon Performing Arts Center stage.
Ken Goode directed the 1960s-era show, which featured Rex Collins in the gold suit as rock 'n' roll idol Conrad Birdie. The production was sponsored by the Newcomb Department of Music.
