Of Mergers and Acquisitions

On April 15–16, an anticipated 300 movers, shakers, planners and negotiators will converge on New Orleans to attend Tulane Law School's annual Corporate Law Institute. CNBC will be on hand to conduct live interviews and Securities and Exchange Commissioner Troy Paredes will deliver a keynote on financial regulation and corporate accountability.

Discussing the most pressing issues in mergers and acquisitions market activity will be members of the Delaware Supreme Court and Court of Chancery, leading mergers and acquisitions practitioners, legal counsel from major corporations and business writers from across the country, including Andrew Ross Sorkin, author of the bestselling book, Too Big to Fail: The Inside Story of How Wall Street and Washington Fought to Save the Financial System — and Themselves.

Two decades ago, Delaware Supreme Court Justice Andrew G. T. Moore II, a 1960 Tulane Law School graduate, and a group of prominent New Orleans corporate law practitioners established the annual gathering of the nations' leading corporate jurists and practitioners.

The institute, which takes place at the Roosevelt New Orleans Waldorf-Astoria, is open to the public by fee. For more information, see the Tulane Law School website or contact Ann Schumacher at 504-865-5900.
