Movin' out
Working smart and hard, workers with facilities services use a lift-mounted basket to move items out of a third floor window of the School of Social Work building on the Tulane University uptown campus. The decision to move the items out the window was made due to the narrow stairs in the building, which was constructed in 1902. The School of Social Work is in the process of moving from the uptown campus to its new downtown facility.
Ronnie Martin, a heavy equipment operator with facilities services, waits at the wheel of the lift to bring down the next load of furniture from the third floor of the School of Social Work Building.
