Some of New Orleans’ top musicians, including Irma Thomas, Charmaine Neville, Al “Carnival Time” Johnson, Benny Grunch and Vince Vance, volunteered their time and talent to record “You’re Not Alone,” a song inspired by longtime local music club owner Jimmy Anselmo’s fight with prostate cancer. Anselmo is now a survivor and wanted to raise awareness of prostate cancer and honor those fighting the disease at the Tulane Cancer Center.
