No song unsung

Jason Dowies, playing Jean Valjean, belts out a song during a dress rehearsal of Les Misérables, the first production of the 47th season of the Summer Lyric Theatre at Tulane University. The play begins its four-day run on Thursday (June 19).

Tulane music alumna Maggie Windler plays the part of Cosette in Les Mis, which is based on a novel of the same name by Victor Hugo.



Colby McCurdy, director/professor of music at St. Joseph Seminary College, portrays police inspector Javert in the production, which will run through Sunday (June 22).

New Orleans theater fixture Sean Patterson plays the role of Thénadier.
