Before the Navy ROTC building there was the ‘old Tulane gym.’

Originally constructed as the old Tulane gymnasium, the building (pictured here, circa 1960s) at the corner of Freret Street and McAlister Place on the uptown campus, is currently on active duty as the Navy ROTC Building.
