After his talk on Sept. 8 in Dixon Hall on the Tulane uptown campus, New Orleans native Young speaks with members of the audience.

With Lee Hampton of the Amistad Research Center, Young tours the Amistad"s exhibit about Tom Dent that is on view through Sept. 30. Young and Dent shared many struggles in the fight for civil rights in the 1960s.

After viewing the exhibit, Young and his wife, Carolyn, view his family"s papers that have been donated to the Amistad Research Center on the Tulane uptown campus.
