Pop quiz: Professors are queried about teaching

In the classroom, it's the professor who typically asks the questions. In this video, we turn the tables on four award-winning professors, quizzing them about the art and science of teaching.

Each year, Tulane University designates four members of the faculty for its highest teaching honors, to be awarded on Saturday (May 19) at the Unified Commencement Ceremony. This year, Janet Ruscher, professor and chair of the psychology department, and Randy Sparks, professor of history, will receive the Suzanne and Stephen Weiss Presidential Fellowships in recognition of excellence in undergraduate teaching.

Scott Bernhard, Mintz Associate Professor of Architecture, and Martin Davies, Admiralty Law Institute Professor of Maritime Law, will be honored with the President's Award for Graduate and Professional Teaching.
