Reflections on architecture

Art students tour the “Medieval Louisiana” exhibit in the Garden Room at the Southeastern Architectural Archive on the Tulane University uptown campus. The exhibit, which focuses on the region"s adoption of Byzantine, Hispano-Moresque, Romanesque and Gothic architectural forms and motifs, is in honor of Milton Scheuermann, a Tulane School of Architecture professor for 56 years who retired in 2015. Scheuermann, an aficionado of all things medieval, donated many of the drawings currently on display in the archives.
