Score big with the 2014 Helluva Hullabaloo auction

The 2014 Helluva Hullabaloo online auction is officially under way and will run through Tuesday, Dec. 9. This annual fundraiser has raised nearly $3 million in support of Tulane University, and celebrates the academic, athletic and community service accomplishments of all 328 Tulane student-athletes.
Chaired for the sixth year by Jill Henkin Glazer, a 1985 Newcomb College graduate, the Helluva Hullabaloo auction allows Tulanians and friends around the world to bid on an array of unique items and experiences.
This year"s auction, hosted on Charitybuzz.com, features ticket packages from collegiate and professional sports teams, meet and greets with celebrities, autographs and exclusive Tulane Athletics experiences.
This year's auction benefitting Green Wave student-athletes is the largest online auction to date with nearly 200 items.
Premier travel packages are always a popular choice, and up for auction this year are: trips to private homes in Valencia, Spain, and Park City, Utah; a suite to watch the New Orleans Saints take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Florida; and the often-anticipated golf trips to top-flight courses.
Also available are trips with Tulane University athletic teams; dinner with athletics director Rick Dickson and head football coach Curtis Johnson; tickets to watch the New York Knicks battle the Indiana Pacers in Madison Square Garden; two tickets to watch one of college basketball"s most heated rivalries, Duke vs. North Carolina; and signed memorabilia from a variety of sports teams.
For supporters looking for entertainment and music experiences, this year"s auction offers a meet and greet with the cast of “Entourage” and the show"s director, Doug Ellin, a 1990 Tulane graduate; two VIP tickets to a taping of ABC"s “Good Morning America” in New York City; and two premium seats to the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 19 in north Texas.
