Seeing yellow

A cyclist rides past a southern catalpa tree behind Hebert Hall on the Tulane University uptown campus. Native to warm climates of North America, the Caribbean and East Asia, the tree is also known as the “worm tree” in some areas and is cultivated for its large leaves that are the sole source of food for the sphinx moth caterpillar, a popular bait for southern anglers.
