Students ring in the Lunar New Year

The Global Café celebrated the Lunar New Year on Tuesday, Feb. 1, on the mezzanine level of the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life. The event featured traditional activities including calligraphy, paper cutting and a lion dance performance. The Global Café is a space for international and internationally minded Tulanians to build connections and global understanding through engagement. Global Café is a weekly collaboration of Office of International Students and Scholars, Newcomb Tulane College’s Office of Study Abroad and Center for Global Education, Freeman Abroad, Tulane Law School and the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life.
