Carolyn Barber-Pierre, left, assistant vice-president for student affairs, serves homemade cornbread to diners at the Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner on Tuesday (Nov. 25) evening in the Lavin-Bernick Center on the Tulane University uptown campus. Over 500 people attended the annual event, which is open to students, alumni, faculty and staff members.
Traditional Thanksgiving fare was served including turkey, rice and gravy, cornbread stuffing and candied yams. The dinner was co-sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Office of International Students & Scholars.
Students participate in a game show-style quiz on Thanksgiving history, facts and fun.
