There's no place like home

The Tulane University Marching Band troops down McAlister Place, pumping up the crowd along the way to the Green Wave homecoming game on Saturday (Nov. 15). It was the first homecoming game played in the new Yulman Stadium.

The Green Wave team runs onto the field carrying the flag for its new conference, the American Athletic Conference, at the start of the game. The temperature at game time was in the 50s, perfect football weather.

Students come out in full force at the first homecoming game on the uptown campus in 40 years.


The Tulane University Alumni Band joins the marching band for a halftime performance on Benson Field.

Piper Browne and Chris Halbohn take center stage on Benson Field after being crowned homecoming queen and king during halftime at the game on Saturday. Following them off the field are Peter Haskins and Morgan Wittenberg.
