Crawfest

Saturday (April 5) was a bad day to be a crawfish as more than 20,000 pounds of mudbugs met their delicious demise for Crawfest, the annual spring festival organized by students and held on the Tulane University uptown campus.

Bryce Acosta, who boils crawfish for Mr. Mudbug, said Crawfest is the company's busiest day of the year. His team started boiling crawfish around 2 a.m. to prepare for the high demand.
