Tulane medical students shave heads to benefit St. Baldrick’s
WHAT: Off with their hair! Dozens of Tulane University medical students will go bald in support of pediatric cancer patients in one of the area’s largest head-shaving fundraisers for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The national, volunteer-driven charity is committed to curing childhood cancers.
WHO: The event is organized entirely by first and second year medical students at Tulane. They hope to shave 40 heads and raise $40,000 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and Tulane Hospital for Children.
WHEN: 10 a.m., Feb. 26
WHERE: The atrium lobby of Tulane Medical Center, 1415 Tulane Ave.
