TUPD provides safety tips for Mardi Gras 2022

As Carnival season continues to roll on in New Orleans, the Tulane University Police Department provides the tips below (and above) to the Tulane community to help keep everyone safe while still enjoying all the revelry: 

1. Hydrate with fluids before bed. 

2. Download the Everbridge app. 

3. Travel in well-lit and populated areas. 

4. Travel in groups. 

5. Consider using an app over cash. 

6. If an attacker demands your valuables, comply with them. 

7. Never leave an area with an attacker. 

8. Obey all police commands.

9. Never urinate in public.
