Twistin' the night away

Dancers enjoy the cool weather and hot music at the annual Wave Goodbye party thrown by Tulane University President Scott Cowen and his wife Marjorie for graduates and their families on Friday (May 16).

The event, modeled after New Orleans" spring festivals, drew a crowd who enjoyed music and food on the Gibson Quad on the Tulane University uptown campus.

Graduates Hanwei Ye and Cen Bian sample jambalaya and corn chowder from the food booths, which served several New Orleans favorites.

Rockin Dopsie Jr. & the Zydeco Twisters keep the party moving.
