The Amistad Research Center’s Comics and Graphic Novels Collection has reached more than 530 volumes since it began in 2011. Included titles, such as Marvel’s Black Panther series, represent the histories and cultures of racial and ethnic communities in the United States, race relations, civil and human rights, and the African Diaspora.
