Warm Hearts, Bald Heads

More than 100 people went bald on Friday (Feb. 18) at the Tulane health sciences campus to raise money for St. Baldrick's Foundation, an advocacy organization for childhood cancer research. Each spring, the national group holds fundraisers all across the country in which people shave their heads to raise money and stand in solidarity with children who are fighting cancer.

For the past few years, Tulane University School of Medicine students have organized St. Baldrick's fundraisers, raising more than $200,000. In this video, participants have their heads shaved as organizer Kayleen Bailey talks about why they are doing it.
