In 1928, an annex was added to the northern side of the building to make it as it appears in this photograph, shot on April 11, 1930, on the Tulane University uptown campus. In 1936, the building was renamed to honor Albert Bledsoe Dinwiddie (1918-1935), the sixth president of Tulane.
