Historical beasts and where to find them

Models of dinosaurs are surrounded by display cases in the original Tulane Natural History Museum on the third floor of Gibson Hall in the early 1900s. Established in 1885 by a special grant from Paul Tulane, the museum contained more than 170,000 specimens at its height.
