A steel beam moves slowly overhead during construction of The Commons on the uptown campus. Located where the Berger Family Lawn meets Newcomb Place, the new three-story structure will include a 58,000-square-foot dining facility as well as a 19,000-square-foot space for the Newcomb College Institute.
