HOSPITAL AND CLINIC UPDATE
Tulane Medical Center"s Downtown Campus is now opened for emergency visits only while Tulane-Lakeside Hospital is opened for emergency visits and some obstetrics care. Both hospitals will fully reopen on Monday, September 8.

The clinics of Tulane Medical Center, Uptown Square, Tulane Institute for Sports Medicine, Tulane-Lakeview and Tulane-Lakeside will reopen on Monday, September 8. Patients are asked to contact their pharmacy if they need prescription re-fills.

Clinic personnel are currently responding to patient inquiries. Elective procedures scheduled for this past week will be rescheduled. Call 504-988-5800 for more information on rescheduling.

In addition, the Tulane Community Health Center at Covenant House, 611 Rampart Street, is open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Next week the Center will resume regular hours of operation, Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. The clinic will also resume charging its normal fee of $10 for new patients and $5 for follow-up visits. Besides medical care, physicians will also be on hand to write or renew prescriptions.

Also, the Tulane Community Health Center in New Orleans East at 4626 Alcee Fortier, which opened for the first time just weeks ago to provide high quality, low-cost care for the community members in that area, will resume normal business hours this week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
