Bill Clinton to Speak Saturday at Tulane University

Former President Bill Clinton will speak at Tulane University's Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse on Saturday, March 15 at 5:30 p.m. Clinton's theme will be the ability of young people to address major global challenges and make lasting, positive change.

Clinton's address is part of CGI U, a new project of the Clinton Global Initiative that will take place at Tulane March 14-16. CGI U will bring more than 600 college students, university presidents, administrators, leading nonprofit organizations and social entrepreneurs together to make commitments to tackle global issues with practical, innovative solutions.

Clinton's speech is free and open to the public. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Other attendees at CGI U include New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, Brad Pitt, Laurie David, James Carville, Lauren Bush, Dave Eggers, and New Orleans Recovery Chief Dr. Ed Blakely.
